A Christmas Carol

Today, The Fermain Academy was transformed into a window into Victorian London as students enjoyed a captivating performance of A Christmas Carol by Box Clever Theatre Company.  This energetic adaptation brought Dickens’ classic tale vividly to life, with actors playing Scrooge, the Cratchits and the spirits in a way that was both engaging and thought provoking.  Students were drawn into Scrooge’s journey from greed to generosity with the performance sparking a fair amount of laughter.

The production featured live music and interactive moments where students could engage with the actors and the story in real time.  With its creative staging and fast paced transitions the performance had a fresh and modern feel while staying true to Dickens’ original message about kindness, empathy and social responsibility. The performance had the students captivated from start to finish.

Thank you to Box Clever Theatre Company for an unforgettable experience.  Their engaging, student centred approach brought A Christmas Carol to life in a way that felt both timeless and relevant.  This special morning served as a reminder of the transformative power of theatre and its ability to inspire new ways of thinking, felling and understanding.
