Giving Back: Charities and Fundraising at the Fermain Academy

We have held numerous charity events at our school and raised money for great causes.

We held a cake sale for Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning where we raised £76.31. Thank you to everyone for baking and donating; this was a great success!

Our Pastoral and Charities Student Leader, Brittania, organised a bake sale and games for the charity BBC Children in Need. This was a fantastic day where the whole school participated in fundraising events.

We raised £82.00 altogether, and had a lot of fun doing it!

Brittania also organised the Christmas shoebox appeal and raised awareness of Operation Christmas Child by the charity Samaritan’s Purse. Our school donated 11 shoe boxes and our students went to hand-deliver them to the collection point.
